Dr. Michaela Lee is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in complex spine, cerebrovascular, and skull base surgery. She completed her neurosurgical residency at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where she also pursued an enfolded fellowship in complex spine surgery.
To further her expertise, Dr. Lee completed a Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Nakaji — one of the most respected names in the field.
Although she initially returned to California after fellowship training, Dr. Lee’s passion for academic neurosurgery and meaningful collaboration brought her back to Phoenix. There, she partnered with Dr. Nakaji to help build a thriving academic department dedicated to innovation and excellence.
Now at Scottsdale Neurosurgery Specialists, Dr. Lee continues this mission — blending cutting-edge surgical technique with a patient-first approach to care. She is known for her precision in the operating room, compassion with patients, and commitment to helping individuals achieve the best possible outcomes.

Eileen Warbington, NP, is a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering personalized, patient-centered care. With advanced training and clinical expertise, she provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management for neurosurgical patients with a wide range of health needs.
Her commitment to fostering strong patient relationships built on trust, open communication, and education. She believes in empowering individuals to take an active role in their care, combining evidence-based medicine with a holistic approach to improve health outcomes and quality of life.
She works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care tailored to each patient’s unique situation.
Eileen holds her Nurse Practitioner certification and has 20+ years of extensive clinical experience in caring for neurological and neurosurgical patients. She continues to advance her knowledge through ongoing professional development and is passionate about bringing the highest standard of care to her patients.
Beyond her clinical role, Eileen enjoys giving back to her community. She volunteers with Scouting America, where she helps kids discover the outdoors, develop life skills, and grow as leaders.
